ABOUT
DIYNate is the YouTube video personality that began with a simple realization that people need short how-to videos to help accomplish their projects. It started with a very frustrating refrigerator repair where there was limited how-to information to solve the problem. Since then, DIYNate has been providing a variety of videos on several topics to a viewing audience - some who are subscribers and others who are just looking to solve their problem of the day. The mission of helping people with meaningful content continues along with new ideas to help the masses.

DIYNate works out of the Marietta, Georgia area where he creates content on a variety of projects. Focus areas include: Home improvement, home repairs, home enhancement projects & hacks, vehicle repairs (DIYNate's own Jeep Compass 2008, Chevy Suburban 2013), technology tips (often iPhone pointers), and even into a variety of miscellaneous topics that may be helpful or entertaining (or not, you be the judge).
DIYNate's camera personality is supported by a real Nate who has worked for years in corporate America, and spent many years working with Home Depot. You'll find many references to this during his videos as well as a lot of references to some of his favorite tools (the Ryobi product line). DIYNate also has the fortune of having a handful of Snap-on tools in his arsenal (pretty high-end tools) that came from growing up with a father who was a Snap-on Tools salesman.
From time to time, DIYNate's family will make cameo appearances and you can also find their fingerprints on many of his videos from helping hold the camera to make the video, to squeals and screeches in the background, or the occasional assistance during a project as DIYNate works to pass on his pseudo-handy skills on to the next generation.
DIYNate also spends time outside of his standard 9-5 job working with rental investment properties. He gets to put his tools to work in the real estate market and also has his real estate license. This passion for working on properties and in the home improvement space give him many ideas of things to share with his viewing audience.
With all that, creating DIYNate has a mission of helping people with useful content - if you'd like to consider supporting this mission, there are many avenues found on the "Support DIYNate" page. Thanks for your interest and engagement - best wishes on all your projects and learning!
